Way Ahead supports people to access training, education, volunteering, work experience, and employment. T he service is available to people who are 29 years old and over, living in Glasgow, and facing complex barriers to work, such as: 

  • are or have been impacted by homelessness
  • in recovery 
  • been involved with the criminal justice system


The service aims to support people who are long-term unemployed to improve their employment prospects, as well as their confidence, aspirations, and wider quality of life.
