Adult Learning is part of Shetland Islands Council's Community Planning and Development Department. We provide informal learning opportunities in response to local and national priorities. This includes courses to improve Adult Literacy and Numeracy and English for Speakers of Other Languages. In all of our work we aim to engage 'hard to reach' learners and widen participation in learning.
