Confab delivers learning opportunities through a high-quality programme of creative writing, visual art, drama, music and dance workshops and performances providing free arts activities for people facing barriers to participation.

In its twenty first year conFAB will focus on three main projects and continue to publish conFAB Books. 

First Feet

Philippa Clarke continues her residency in the Young Parents Support Base to facilitate a sustained creative interaction with the young parents. Using arts as a tool to develop health attachments between parent and child.

Youth Poetry Slam 2025

We are currently developing and preparing to launch Slamming It 2025! More information will be available later in the year.

Intergenerational Creative Writing

We are very excited to be working in collaboration with LGBT Youth Scotland, East and Éadaoín Lynch and LGBT people of all ages on an intergenerational creative writing project with a focus on exploring and expressing gender identity.
