Lochside Connections Meeting Centre
This is a Claimed service
The Meeting Centre makes use of the main clubhouse at Strathmore Cricket Club (which has been upgraded to meet the needs of people living with dementia), the tearoom and kitchen. It also has access to all of the outdoor space for gardening, walking and other outdoor activities.
A Meeting Centre is a local resource that offers, on-going, warm and friendly expert support to people with mild to moderate dementia and their families. All activities are designed to help people adapt to the challenges that living with dementia can bring. These activities include the chance to socialise, be creative, to be active and to share lunch.
Volunteers
The Meeting Centre is run by a small team of staff and volunteers. The centre is looking for friendly, patient individuals to help with the running of the centre. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch (strathmorevolunteering@outlook.com).
