Recovery Activities

Last updated: 19/11/2025

Led by Aleks, our Recovery Activities Facilitator, the service focuses on engaging individuals in leisure activities to support their recovery journey. Aleks runs a variety of activity groups and offers one-to-one support, helping people discover or return to hobbies, exercise, and local opportunities. He works alongside participants to arrange taster sessions in chosen activities, build confidence, and reconnect with the community, all while supporting progress toward long-term recovery.

This service is for anyone aged 18 and over who is in or considering starting the recovery journey. Participants should be open to trying new things, engaging with others, and exploring what a substance-free lifestyle can look like through activity and connection. Whether someone is just beginning their recovery journey or further along the path, Aleks offers tailored support to help them take positive steps forward.

Participants can self-refer or be referred by a support worker or agency.
