Langstane Housing Association has over 2700 properties across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray. If you are aged 16 or over you can apply for one of our rented properties. You can read our Allocations Policy from the downloads menu.

Important Information for Langstane Housing Applications
We will be going live with a new waiting list this year. Until then, we will continue to house applicants nominated to us by Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray Local Authorities.

What do you need to do?

If you would like to apply for housing with Langstane, please make sure you have completed current application with Apply 4 Homes and that you are registered with your local authority.

Transfer Applicants
Until our new waiting list goes live later this year we still be accepting paper applications so please feel free to request one over the phone or download one from the webpage if required. Please also continue to keep any existing application through Apply4Homes up to date.

Once our new waiting list goes live Apply4Homes will be the only way to get on our transfer list.

Don’t have an Apply4Homes application?

If you have already applied to Langstane for a transfer or you are applying for the first time, you can either complete an Apply4Homes online application at www.Apply4Homes.org.uk, or for the time being submit a paper application. Choose Langstane Housing Association as one of your landlord choices.

Already have an Apply4Homes application?

If you already have an Apply4Homes application, you will need to log in and update your information. We have added some important new questions to the application, so please check to make sure you have answered every question and completed your application.

If you want to apply for a Langstane property please follow these guidelines
General Needs Housing
Aberdeen City Council – please apply directly to Aberdeen City Council.

Aberdeenshire and Moray Council – please make sure you complete an Apply4Homes Common Housing Register application.

Persons Who Have No Recourse To Public Funds
If your local authority has informed you that they do not have a duty to house you because of your immigration or benefit status, you can apply to Langstane Housing by completing an application on Apply4Homes by clicking here.

Medical Priority - Transfer Applications Only
If you or anyone moving with you has a medical condition that could be improved by moving to a different type of home, you can apply for medical priority points. Please fill in our medical priority form and ask your GP or other professional concerned with your care to countersign it. Please return the form to any Langstane office.

You can download a Medical Priority application form from the downloads menu. You can also contact us on 01224 423000 to request a copy, or request a form by email.

Your Points - Transfer Applications Only
Once we receive your application and your details are on our housing register we will tell you how many points you have. Your points will be based on your housing needs. You can view our points system by downloading a copy from the downloads menu.
