It can be very daunting to allow people into your home if you are concerned about hoarding. We respect this and can meet in a location where you are comfortable before beginning support in the home. The initial assessment is for us to understand what is important to you and plan on how to achieve this.

Sessions will start with a chat to discuss any issues or positives since the last session. We will work at a pace alongside the client in an area in the home where they are most comfortable and go through items to make decisions on whether they can be kept and reorganised, donated, recycled or disposed of appropriately.

At the end of the session, we may recap barriers and positives, suggest tasks that may be completed independently and plan for the next session. If any items can be removed, we can take these away to the appropriate site.

We can also provide workshops and information, either for organisations, clients or friends and family, to enable them to provide support long term.
