Sidekick is an anonymous and confidential text service for young people aged 13-18 (and up to 25 if you have special educational needs) in the UK.

You can text us any time, about anything that's bothering you as a young person. We can help with lots of things such as:

  • Listening when things feel tough.
  • Talking through problems and ways to help.
  • Offering tips and strategies for your mental health and wellbeing.
  • Supporting you with family or friendship worries.
  • Helping with school challenges, like exams, bullying or challenges related to ADHD/autism.
  • Looking for extra support for you.

You can ask us anything you like – it will be confidential and we will never judge you.

Our friendly team will find you the answers you need and text you back within 24 hours.
