Groups are limited in size to just ten people, ensuring that the highest level of care can be given while also reducing anxiety about meeting large groups of new people. We provide refreshments on arrival, a choice of hot meals at lunchtime, and a blend of activities and outings to suit all kinds of preferences. Members are asked to make a small contribution to the costs of running the club.

Following a growing demand for groups for older people we now run two Beacon Clubs, with one based here at The Broomhouse Hub and another recently opened at the Tron Kirk in Gilmerton. Both of our services cater for people with mild to moderate cognitive impairment, even people who have not yet had an official dementia diagnosis. This is also a great social group for isolated older people who can enjoy one day a week out of the house and spend time with others.
