The Adamson Trust

Last updated: 16/12/2025

The Adamson Trust is a long established charity that offers financial help with the cost of holidays or respite breaks for disabled children aged between 3 and 17 with physical, mental or emotional impairments. Many of the grants are made for children with conditions such as Down’s Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism or cystic fibrosis.

The Trustees believe that disabled children should be able to go on holiday with or without their families. Thus, as well as grants to individual families, the Trust also makes larger block grants to other charities which provide holidays or outings for disabled children. The six Trustees meet four times a year and dispense a total of about £80,000 a year. They would be delighted to hear from you.
