William Hunter House provides short term supported accommodation for adults experiencing homelessness. We offer a safe, supportive environment for individuals, helping them make positive choices about their current circumstances.

Our programme is designed to help our clients craft a new sense of self, renew their sense of independence and control, and realise their potential as members of the community. Services we offer include:

  • Recovery Groups
  • Mindfulness and Relaxation Groups
  • Feelings Groups
  • In house surgeries from the local health service
  • Alternative therapies
  • Peer mentoring

Referrals are made by caseworkers, care managers, prison services, and the Glasgow City Council Commissioning Service. Potential clients are assessed before admission, and interviewed at William Hunter House.

Clients accessing the service must abstain from alcohol and other substances.
