Self-management Group Meetings

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Pain Association Scotland This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 06/10/2025

Some of the meetings are a blended model of online and face-to-face. Some meetings are online only while some are face to face only. You need to live in the health board to attend the meetings.

If you are interested in attending any of the online meetings please phone or email us with your name, a contact telephone number and which meeting you wish to attend. You will then be contacted by the office by email or phone.

What you will find when you attend our meetings:

  • Your pain will be believed
  • We do not offer a cure – we do offer the opportunity to learn how to manage your pain
  • The group offers you the chance to meet others living with chronic pain and to share experiences and strategies.
  • Any activity is at your own pace because each person’s experience of pain is their own.

You do not need a referral from your doctor or other health/ social welfare professional. Simply come along and you will be made to feel welcome.
