Young Carers

Young Carers have told us that being a Carer can be hard sometimes.
They may not have much time to play with their friends.
They might find it difficult to get their homework done on time.
They might get bullied at school.
If this applies to you, then the East Ayrshire Carers Centre is here to help.
We offer one-to-one and group support to our young carers. We run age specific groups every week at our centres in Kilmarnock, Cumnock, New Cumnock and Dalmellington. You can come along and meet other young carers who know and understand how you feel. Come and socialise over a nice home cooked meal and most importantly have fun!
