The 16 sq km area is a rich mix of woodland, wetland, parks and farmland – including a Country Park, two Sites of Special Scientific Interest and six local nature reserves. It really is heritage on your doorstep, and a great place to relax and lose yourself in nature.

The Seven Lochs Wetland Park is a great place for outdoor learning. From scavenger hunts and natural art to discovering the stories and secrets of the past, there’s something for all ages and seasons.

Seven Lochs team are keen to support local residents, schools and community organisations to explore, learn, share and celebrate their heritage in active, innovative and fun ways – from creating exhibitions and finding new ways to explore nature to experimental archaeology and excavations!
