Support for older vegetarians and vegans

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Vegetarian for Life (V for Life) This is a Claimed organisation
Last reviewed: 21/03/2023

We run a national monthly vegan lunch club in partnership with Age UK on the 4th Tuesday of every month. It's open to vegans, vegetarians, and meat reducers aged 65 and over.

We also run regular 6-week cookery courses for older adults, often in partnership with Age UK's across the UK.

Our Pen- and the phone-pals scheme is a great way to help reduce isolation. Many close friendships have been forged through the scheme.

We also have a grants scheme available to help older vegans and vegetarians with independent living. We've funded items such as stair lifts, mobility scooters, laptops, and veggie cookery classes in Wales. More info can be found on our website.
