Woodside Day Care Centre

Woodside Day Care Centre provides support to vulnerable older people who live in the community. The dementia friendly day care centre is located alongside Woodside Health Centre and provides a high quality environment built around the individual needs of the people who use it.

The building itself is all on one level and was created to ensure that older people feel safe and that they enjoy a sense of community.

Woodside Day Care Centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm and can accommodate up to 30 people each day.

Within the centre we have a number of areas where people can relax and socialise including:

• dining room
• activity rooms including space for dementia-friendly activities
• treatment room
• landscaped secure garden areas with raised beds for gardening
• hairdressing salon
• quiet rooms
