Museum Socials

Last reviewed: 11/03/2024

Museum Socials create a friendly environment for people living with dementia and their families, carers and supporters. They are suitable for first-time visitors and for those who might not regularly come to the museum, as well as people who have always loved visiting. Our sessions are relaxed and informal, start with tea and cake, and feature a range of activities inspired by our collections.

The event runs from 10:30 till 12:00 in the Seminar Room on Level 4 of our Learning Centre at the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street. This space is accessible by lift and is well signposted. Our team will be on hand to show you the way on the day.

The event is free but please register now for your free space via Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/national-museums-scotland-29473350297). You will receive a confirmation email providing directions and further information from the Community Engagement team a few days before the event.
