The Bernera Community Association (BCA) is a not-for-profit charity that works for the benefit of the residents of Great Bernera and Tir Mor. The BCA is responsible for the Community Centre and 24/7 Fuel Pump. Facilities include Sports Halls, Gym, Snooker Room, Meeting Rooms, Outdoor Community Spaces & Playpark, Shop & Cafe. There are a number of regular clubs operating from the Centre, please contact the BCA for a list of these. Our halls and meeting rooms can be rented out for specials events (such as birthdays and weddings) or by groups wishing to use the facilities. The Shop and Cafe have seasonal opening hours. Accessible building

We have a wheelchair access ramp into the Centre. Double doors can be opened to allow wheelchair access into the cafe & shop, halls and museum. We also have a wheelchair in the Centre which can be used while in the Centre.

Accessible car park

Parking is tarmac and is free. There are spaces for approx. thirty cars.

Accessible entrance

There is a wheelchair ramp at the main entrance of the Centre.

Accessible toilet

Double doors give access to a ground floor, disabled toilet facility.

The local bus service has a stop outside the Centre and a bus timetable on the notice board inside the Centre.

Main Sports Hall used for Badminton, Bowls, other seasonal events and activities, and hired out for special events.

Bernera Community Cafe, open Tues, Weds, Thurs during the Summer and open Weds during the Winter.

Bernera Community Shop stocks groceries and local crafts. Open Monday to Friday throughout the year.
