Glasgow North East Foodbank exists to combat hunger and provide essential support to individuals and families facing food insecurity in one of the most economically deprived areas in Scotland. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry and to provide a lifeline to those in crisis. Many of our customers experience chronic poverty, exacerbated by rising living costs, leading to food insecurity and an inability to meet basic needs. Our foodbank operates in multiple locations to support people in different areas of North East of Glasgow. We help them by providing nutritionally balanced emergency non-perishable food parcels to those in crisis. Each parcel is tailored to meet the dietary needs of individuals and families, ensuring they have enough food for at least five days. Collaborations with local organizations enable us to offer a comprehensive support network.
