The Scottish Racing Academy (SRA) was formed in 2019 to bridge the gap in horseracing education and training in Scotland and the far North of England. The SRA offers a range of accredited, industry recognised qualifications to those aged 14+ who would like to work in the horseracing industry, or those who are already established in the industry and looking to upskill.

The SRA is also delighted to now offer generic Horse Care Modern Apprenticeships at Level 5 & Level 6 across Scotland. The SRA's suite of qualifications has been designed to create a career and progression pathway for all those who complete them, enabling learners to progress their careers in the industry with the help and support of the SRA team and qualifications.
