Sight Scotland Veterans supports any veteran (this includes T.A.'s, reserves, National Service, military medics/ nurses and merchant Navy/ Red Cross nurses who assisted under military command) resident in Scotland who live with a sight loss condition that negatively impacts their daily life. The condition can be in the early stages of diagnosis and need more than opticians spectacles to assist.


We provide a range of free information and advice about:

  • Visual impairment assistive equipment
  • Living well and independently
  • Support in the workplace
  • Social experiences
  • Referrals and signposting
