Health Walks

Last reviewed: 04/09/2019

Join us on a walk in the heart of nature with Braveheart’s free health walks, designed to support adults, of all abilities, to become more physically and socially active within the community.

Our friendly and welcoming walks also encourage the use of green space within our local area. This not only allows us to spot wildlife in action, capture breathtaking views, and enjoy fresh air but has shown to have many restorative effects; recovery from illness, stress relief, reduces anger and anxiety and increases feelings of wellbeing; helping maintain overall health in the long run.

We offer Weekly and Monthly walks throughout Forth Valley for individuals of all abilities. Our leaders have expert knowledge of the surrounding area and guide our walks throughout Forth Valley. They are full of ideas, and have great enthusiasm for walking outdoors.

Our Weekly walks last from 30 minutes to an hour long (slow and brisk pace), whereas our monthly walks are longer (45 minutes -1.5 hrs long) and go further afield. All walks finish with a tea and a chat in the café afterwards.

Our walks support individuals living with Dementia, long term conditions, individuals who are visually impaired or deaf, and anyone who wishes to become more physically or socially active within their community.
