Housing Services

Last updated: 31/07/2025

Blairtummock Housing Association maintains an open waiting list. This means you, or anyone aged 16 years or over, can apply to us for housing.

Applications are assessed under our Allocations Policy. Our policy follows the Housing Act to ensure reasonable preference for housing is given to persons who:

  • Are homeless or threatened with homelessness;
  • Are living under unsatisfactory housing conditions;
  • Are occupying overcrowded houses;
  • Are living in sub-standard accommodation

Please contact the office so we can give you advice on other housing options that may be available, or even more suitable, to your needs. This may include: applying to other local social landlords, applying for a Mutual Exchange, accessing the private rented sector or the various low cost home ownerships schemes available.

If you can’t pay your rent or you have difficulties paying, please call us straight away. We can give you advice and make arrangements for you to pay any arrears in instalments.
