Community Outreach Support

Last updated: 16/12/2025

Buddies Clubs and Services provide a range of services for children and adults affected by disability. Buddies is a membership led organisation and all families who access our services become members.

We provide a variety of community outreach based services developed around the individual needs of our families, catering for ages 5 years and up.

Outreach includes:

  • Home Services - Young people are supported in their own home environment with the aim of improving life skills, personal care skills and promoting independence.
  • Structured Weekly or Daily Activities - We support young adults to attend leisure activities within the community. We also assist them to attend college courses, dance development and art programmes.
  • Unstructured Weekly and Weekend Activities - Here young people enjoy different activities which they have input in choosing.

We meet families to discuss individual needs before preparing support plans from these assessments.

Cost applies - see website or contact for details.
