Stay for Play

Delivered by: Play Midlothian
Last reviewed: 06/05/2021

Do you:
Want to have some family fun on a Saturday?
Have a child aged 0-4?
Live in Gorebridge, Mayfield or Dalkeith?
If so, Stay for Play might be for you. Stay for Play runs fortnightly in each of these areas.
Stay for Play is for children aged 0-4 and their parents/carers (including grandparents and kinship carers). Older siblings are welcome to attend and take part in activities too. Parents/carers stay with and look after their children at the sessions. You will be able to enjoy playing as a family and meet other families too.

The friendly playworkers set up fun and exciting play opportunities for children to enjoy. For example, musical instruments, dressing up clothes, construction toys, things for babies to look at and feel, storytelling, art and messy play. Children can explore and play however they like and there are occasional group activities such as songs or stories. Everyone should wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy!
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, venues may be subject to change. If you are interested in attending, please contact Jenny on 01875 820 889 or via email here.
