Wheels In Nairnshire (WIN) offers affordable, Pay What You Can personal transport for anyone who struggles to get from A to B. We also operate the Council’s Dial-a-Bus.

Residents of Nairn, Nairnshire, Ardersier, Petty, Croy and Tornagrain are eligible for the service.

  • We take people across Nairn, Inverness, Dingwall and Golspie to medical appointments, such as doctors, dentists, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
  • We drive people to the supermarket, social clubs, and activities, or to meet friends for lunch.
  • We can link people to local transport.
  • We can take people to job interviews and DWP appointments
  • We help parents and carers with the school run

Our friendly volunteer drivers use their cars, but we also have an adapted electric Mercedes e-Vito for wheelchair users.

Volunteers have no insurance costs. We cover mileage to and from their home, and full training is given on using the e-Vito’s ramp.

Regions:
  • Culloden and Ardersier
  • Nairn and Cawdor
