Rock Trust - Housing First for Youth

Housing First for Youth works with the most vulnerable young people for whom providing accommodation that meets their high level of support needs has been an ongoing struggle for support organisations.

Housing First for Youth supports young people to end homelessness by immediately placing them into an unconditional and permanent home that meets their needs and interests, bypassing unsuitable temporary accommodation.

Each young person is given control over how they live, from what support they will engage with to what furniture is in their new home. Support is available from their support worker whenever they are ready to engage with them, for as long as they need it
