It’s also possible you’re not sure whether a credit union is for you. Put simply, a credit union is like a bank, except we’re not for profit and we’re owned by our members - the people who save with us.
We help people save for a rainy day or a particular purchase, and we offer ethical and competitive loans.
Like banks, we’re regulated by the FCA and PRA (arms of the government), with similar protections for savers and borrowers. “People, not profit”. That’s us. It's as simple as that.
