Last updated: 03/09/2025

Victim Support Scotland offer support in the way that works best for you—at home, in our offices, in the community, or remotely via video chat or phone. Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, but we’re happy to arrange a time that suits you—just contact your local office.

Support at our offices includes:

  • Assistance after a crime
  • Help with Victim Impact Statements
  • Court attendance information for victims and witnesses

Our services are free, independent, and confidential. You can access them whether or not you’ve reported a crime to the police.

Victim Support Scotland has a presence in every court throughout Scotland. We can explain the support available to you at court and guide you through the criminal justice process and your rights as a witness. See website for details of Glasgow court services at Glasgow High Court and Glasgow Sheriff Court, including virtual court tours.
