Art Angel supports people with long-term serious mental health problems to get better and stay well through active participation in the arts.
Participants are provided with the materials, guidance and long-term support needed to discover their creativity and reimagine themselves as artists, whilst working in a safe, creative, and fun environment.
All groups are held in our city-centre premises and are led by specially trained working artists, who share skills and gently guide, motivate and listen to participants. We are open to anyone over the age of 16 who experiences emotional distress and wishes to be involved in something practical and creative to aid their recovery.
