Partners in Advocacy, in conjunction with Advocacy Highland, are running a project funded by Highland Alcohol & Drug Partnership to provide free independent advocacy for adults (16+) who have lived or living experience of dependence or recovery relating to alcohol and/or drug use.


Our Advocacy Workers can:

  • Listen to you to understand your situation.
  • Help to identify key issues.
  • Find information to help you make choices and understand your rights.
  • Write emails, letters, and make phone calls.
  • Prepare and support you to attend meetings.
  • Help you speak up when you can and speak on your behalf if you need us to.


Operational in Inverness City and northwards to include Dingwall, Alness, Invergordon and to Carrbridge in the south.
