Midlothian Council Sport and Leisure provide a range of services, facilities and opportunities for people to be physically active including:

  • Active Schools initiative working with schools within the community to offer children and young people opportunities to live more active lives
  • Leisure Centres, Swimming Pools and Health Suites
  • Gym membership and a variety of fitness classes
  • Be-Active Ageing Well Project for over 50's offering free Health Walks and other activities
  • Midlothian Active Choices (MAC) physical activity referral programme which aims to help you become more active by providing a wide range of supported activities across the county to suit your ability level.
