Friday Friends

Last reviewed: 11/03/2024

Since 2018, in partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council Additional support for learning service, monthly Friday Friends sessions have welcomed two groups to the museum:

  • D/deaf children and their families
  • Visually impaired children and their families

All children attend mainstream schools.

The group meet once a month across three venues: Edinburgh Zoo, The Palace of Holyroodhouse and The National Museum of Scotland and explore a range of topics through objects, music, art and activities.
