Monifeith Patient Advisory Group is run by a group of patients. We meet four times a year and are a very active group, running courses for patients and charity coffee mornings. The Group provides help and assistance in shaping and advising the practice team on ways of working and innovation:
- Represent the patient population
- Active dialogue between the Group and the practice e.g. via notice boards and suggestion boxes
- Contribute to improvement by providing constructive feedback on current and proposed processes and initiatives
- Communicate patient responses and feedback
- Take action to help improve health of practice patients e.g. increase patient engagement with health education and promotion to increase self-care
