Hope Point Dundee
This is a Claimed service This service is Free to use
Hope Point Dundee is a free, confidential crisis support service for anyone experiencing thoughts of suicide, emotional distress, or feeling overwhelmed. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no appointment or referral needed.
The service offers a safe, calm space where people can talk openly and be listened to with compassion and without judgement. Support is provided by trained Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners from Penumbra Mental Health, many of whom have lived experience, helping ensure understanding, empathy and respect.
People can access Hope Point in the way that suits them best: by freephone, text, or face‑to‑face drop‑in. Staff focus on listening, reducing immediate distress, and supporting individuals to plan their next steps safely, at their own pace.
Hope Point is delivered in partnership with Penumbra Mental Health and Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership and forms a vital part of Dundee’s local suicide prevention and crisis support network.
