Deaf Action - Aberdeenshire

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Deaf Action This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 10/02/2025

Deaf Action are funded by Aberdeenshire Council to provide an Information, Advice and Guidance service (which includes specialist equipment i.e. flashing/loud doorbells, amplified telephones, neck loops, TV headphones, vibrating alarm clocks) to anyone living in Aberdeenshire with a diagnosed hearing loss. This includes people who are hard of hearing, deafened, deafblind and BSL users.

We also run drop in sessions across Aberdeenshire each month (in 8 locations:- Stonehaven, Banchory, Inverurie, Ellon, Banff, Huntly, Peterhead and Fraserburgh). These are to help people maintain their NHS hearing aids. We help to clean them, retube them and provide batteries.
