Glasgow NW Foodbank

The Glasgow North West Foodbank is facilitated by Blawarthill Church and is part of the Trussell Trust Foodbank Network.

As well as the main administration and distribution centre at Blawarthill, which is open to clients Tuesdays and Fridays, we have a satellite distribution centre in the Possil district, at Victory Family Centre (open Wednesdays and Thursdays).

We speak to all our clients to get to know their personal situation, including the main reason they have been referred to the Foodbank. This helps us signpost clients to other support services that will assist them in escaping the poverty trap. We also have Citizens Advice workers in both our food banks who can provide free confidential and impartial advice to help individuals tackle a wide range of issues, including benefits, legal, consumer and housing problems.
