This is a Claimed service
Last updated: 05/02/2026

Every second Saturday from 12pm-2pm meet the Rangers to get stuck in to practical management of areas in the Glen.

Volunteers will be involved in a wide range of conservation activities including:

- Maintenance of paths and woodlands

- Conducting nature surveys

- Building and using tools

... and more

All while improving biodiversity and making a positive impact on the environment.

This involves light manual activities, so a decent level of fitness is required, although the Rangers are happy to chat with volunteers about their needs and adapt roles to suit them. Tools and PPE are provided, as well as hot drinks and snacks.
