Motability Scheme

This is a Claimed service

The Motability Scheme is a UK government-backed initiative that helps disabled people maintain their independence by offering affordable access to cars and Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs).

The scheme allows eligible recipients to lease a new vehicle using their qualifying Mobility Allowance, a benefit which helps cover the extra costs associated with long-term health conditions or disabilities. By exchanging their Mobility Allowance, Motability Scheme customers, their families, and carers can enjoy the freedom and convenience of a vehicle without having to worry about the financial burden of buying one outright.

To qualify for a Motability vehicle, applicants must have at least 12 months remaining on their qualifying Mobility Allowance and meet specific eligibility criteria. Payments for the vehicle are taken directly from the Mobility Allowance benefit, simplifying the process and making it as cost-effective as possible.
