Home Visiting

This service provides a weekly visit from a trained Home-Start Aberdeen volunteer.

Your Home-Start Aberdeen volunteer will:

• Visit your family on a weekly basis
• Provide friendship and practical support
• Build a trusting relationship with you and your children
• Help you to be involved in early learning and development
• Assist with budgeting, nutrition and meal planning
• Help you explore your community
• Access information on other organisations for you, such as health and educational services

Support is tailored to meet your family's needs and is as unique as you are. Our goal is to make sure that parents have the skills, knowledge and confidence to be the best parents they can be. Nurtured parents raise nurtured children and we want to make sure that no parent feels alone as they undertake this most important role.
