The Active Schools’ Young Leader Programme includes the offer of voluntary experience and training/qualification opportunities for children and young people aged 11-25 in the Moray area.

Hoodie Scheme

We have linked our volunteering and training/qualification offer with the provision of Active Schools Young Leader hoodies. Each hoodie represents a different achievement, and the structure allows Young Leaders to aim for different hoodies each year

Support and Mentoring

All participants of our programme will be supported and mentored by the Active Schools team. We can enable you to gain experience, for example:

Assisting at an Active Schools Club

Linking with a local club or Community Sports Hub

Volunteering at a sporting event

Shaping the future of your community through the Sportscotland Young Ambassadors Programme.
