Stepping Stones

Last reviewed: 11/12/2019

Stepping stones is an employability skills programmed offered by Bright Green Business.

It is an education programme targeted at P6 and P7 pupils to help in a successful transition from primary into secondary school. This interactive workshop will encourage the understanding of different careers and hope to raise aspirations and widen opportunities. Pupils will complete 2 hands-on challenges before considering how the skills used are related to employment. Skills highlighted include team building, communication, problem solving, reflection and analysis. There will also be an employer talk and a chance to ask questions.

Sessions will usually last half a day but for large groups (for examples, multiple classes) the workshop can run for the full day.
