The Community Learning and Development (CLD) service supports adults, communities, and young people across Aberdeenshire to reach their full potential through the facilitation of learning opportunities. These opportunities support people to build confidence, influence change, and have a voice around decision-making with issues relevant to them. The service is targeted, working in communities most affected by socioeconomic factors.

CLD delivers in a range of settings across Aberdeenshire, including face to face, online, and hybrid. We work with a range of partners to ensure adults, communities, and young people are given the opportunity to access appropriate opportunities and support when needed.

All our programmes are designed specifically around participants' needs, ensuring the learners are part of the planning process. Using a person-centred approach encourages learners to make informed choices and decisions, setting their own learning goals.
