Asist -  Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

Delivered by: Papyrus
This organisation is a Registered Charity
Last updated: 14/05/2026

ASIST   is an intensive two day, skills building workshop that prepares participants to provide suicide first aid interventions.

It goes further than any of our other training programmes. ASIST doesn’t just teach you to recognise the signs or start a conversation. It trains you to intervene directly with someone who is at immediate risk of suicide. To reduce that risk. And to connect them with the support they need to stay safe.

It’s particularly valuable for emergency service workers, counsellors, teachers, mental health staff, healthcare and welfare professionals, community volunteers, ministers, parents and carers.

How is it delivered?

ASIST is a face to face programme only. It cannot be delivered online.

  • Individual £200 per person
  • Group £6,000 per group. Minimum 16 participants. Maximum 30. Organiser provides the venue.

Session length 2 days

All sessions are delivered by trained Papyrus Asist facilitators.
