Renew Wellbeing

This is a Claimed service
Last updated: 16/04/2024

The purpose of the sessions is to promote emotional and mental wellbeing by providing a space where people can connect with others, feel accepted, and thereby reduce loneliness and social isolation. To encourage wellbeing by taking part in craft s and games and meeting new people. To provide a warm, friendly place for those who are struggling with social isolation, the cost-of-living crisis, and circumstances which threaten their wellbeing.

The Renew Wellbeing space is for any adult in the community to attend to help with their wellbeing. At the moment, it runs for two hours every Thursday afternoon in Bainsford Hall. Tea, coffee, sandwiches, cup-a-soup, cakes and biscuits are provided and we offer a place where it is “Ok not to be OK”.

We provide crafts and games and offer a short, optional ten minute meditation slot. It is designed to give people the chance to make new friends and take part in hobbies if they wish.
