RNIB, the Royal National Institute of Blind People, is the UK's leading sight loss charity. RNIB Scotland works on behalf of all people in Scotland with sight loss.

RNIB Scotland run a range of social and leisure groups across the country. In Glasgow the following groups take place:

  • Easterhouse Group meeting fortnightly at the Library at The Bridge on Thursdays at 2pm
  • Glasgow Queens Park Walking Group meeting weekly at Queens Park Station on Mondays at 10am
  • Glasgow Book Group meeting on the first Saturday of each month from 3pm in GoMA Library
  • Glasgow United Telephone Group (a general social group for Glasgow community members) meeting weekly on Mondays from 3pm to 4pm
  • Baillieston Drop-in Group meeting at Baillieston Library on the second Thursday of each month from 10.30am – 12pm
