The Settled Housing Support service works to ensure that tenancies are suitable and meet the needs, preferences and wishes of an individual.
The service works alongside individuals to plan person-centred, realistic, and achievable goals to contribute to improved relationships, social connections and health and wellbeing and the long-term sustainment of their tenancy.
This can include practical and emotional support with:
- Accessing & Managing DWP payments
- Budgeting; Financial planning, signposting to debt support agencies, creating & attending financial appointments, support with planning & managing food shopping
- Community Integration
- Management of the Tenancy: Correspondence, bill management, development of life skills etc
- Access & Referrals to Health & Wellbeing Services
- Encouragement in engagement with professional agencies, if applicable
- Support with Isolation
- Support in securing household goods
- Signposting to relevant internal and external services
