The South West Ross Community Car Scheme is provided by a wonderful team of volunteers operating within Kinlochewe, Torridon, Alligin, Diabaig, Shieldaig, the Applecross Peninsula, Kishorn, Achintraid, Ardaneaskan, Lochcarron, Strathcarron, Glencarron and Achnasheen (also to and from Gairloch for our ‘northerly’ residents, if required.)

We serve all residents of South West Ross-shire who are unable to use public transport for their journey and have no means of private transport. It can be used for any local journeys, e.g. to access surgeries, mobile clinics, services, shops and amenities, church, community events, onward public transport or visit friends. Increasingly we are delivering journeys to medical appointments outwith the area to hospitals, dental services, etc in Broadford, Dingwall and Inverness.

Phone the booking line between 09:30 and 14:00 Monday - Friday, we will take the details of your requested journey and try to find a driver for you.

  • Wester Ross, Strathpeffer and Lochalsh
