The Bangla Centre runs a Bengali language school to provide Bengali children and young people a unique opportunity to learn and maintain proficiency in Bengali language education.

The Bangla School has been operating since 1978 as a Bengali language and educational initiative to serve the needs of Bangla-speaking community members in Scotland, especially the Western Scottish regions, and remains at the heart of the Bangla Centre. The School, which operates on weekends, offers courses and classes in Bengali language and literature, numeracy and computer literacy, song and music, dance, drama, art and painting, and the religious culture of Bangladesh
