Last updated: 08/01/2026

Hope in the Community supports people aged 50+ across North Ayrshire to gain essential digital skills. Whether you are using an Apple or Android smartphone, tablet or laptop, we can help you learn how to use your device effectively and safely. We do this with one-to-one support so you get all the initial support you require guiding you through the basics of using your device including:

  • how to use your device
  • finding your way around email
  • how to browse the internet
  • how to stay safe while you are online
  • using social media, Zoom and WhatsApp etc to connect with family and friends

Once you have completed your free sessions, you may wish to move on to our small group sessions where you can learn more about using the internet and your device. Please get in touch if you need some help to stay connected.
